About QRID

The Qatar Robotics Institute for Development (QRID) was founded in 2013 by Mouhyemen Khan, graduate of year 2014 from Texas A&M University at Qatar, and Faheem Khan, currently pursuing Graphic Design at Virginia Commonwealth University at Qatar, who are passionate about delivering quality robotics education in Qatar. QRID delivers knowledge about robotics through its self-designed workshops and seminars thus developing an appreciation in this field for people across Qatar.

QRID plans to promote robotics in this country by organizing various workshops ranging from a school-to-university level so that students, teachers, and parents with next to nothing involvement in robotics can benefit from the workshops.

Qatar has embarked upon the field of education in various disciplines and aims to be a vanguard for productive change in the region. The aim of the organization is also to serve the greater vision of Qatar but specifically in the field of robotics. Through QRID's mentor-based courses and programs, QRID plans to create a network of highly enthusiastic roboticists in the region who will bring about a positive change to the engineering world.'
